Seattle homeschooling support groups and online communities: Several hundred strong now, and growing since 2007 by about 180% each year, registered homeschooling families in Seattle are an evolving and expanding group. There are no fewer than ten excellent groups (Yahoo, Google, and Facebook). Search keywords like homeschool, Seattle, unschool, groups, etc.

• The Homeschoolers' Support Association (HSA) (Puget Sound area including Seattle, though they seem to be focused more in south and east King County), is both an online resource and a fieldtrip/activity group. There is a 25/year membership fee.
