DRAGONFLY ART CAMPS

Dragonfly Arts Camps at Three Dragons Academy are ideally & mindfully designed for younger students!

Arts-integrated, truly child-centered, half-day camps for 4 – 7 year olds (approximately preK - 1st+). Themes focus on building cooperation and confidence through play and exploration. (Read more about our teaching philosophy.)

We explore themes around art, theatre, and music, engage in creative drama, collaborate on improv games, and have great moments of silliness.

Tuition/Fee: 280 per 5-week session, 325 for 6-week sessions. All supplies included. Every camp day includes some unstructured play time, and kids should pack/bring a snack. A certain amount of self-sufficiency is required: Campers must be able to use the restroom and open their snacks independently.

Session A: Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov 4

“BOX OF STORIES” - Theatrical Arts camp

Ages: 4.5 - 7

Mondays, 9:30a-12:30

Dates: Oct. 7 through Nov. 4 — 5 weeks

Tuition: 280 for 5 weeks (scholarships always available for families in need- just email!)

Bring: an easy snack, water bottle, change of clothes/outside gear, and wear clothes in which you can be a maker/painter!

Description: We’ll fire up our imaginations to build, decorate, and populate a story box, a tiny micro-scenery play stage! Campers will have hands-on art, crafting, and real theatre techniques along with whimsical warmups and drama games - building confidence and nurturing curiosity each camp day! Join TDA’s own David Anthony, local theatre artist who’s toured the country & worked with YouthTheatreNW, for this fun camp for younger kids (PreK through 1+)!

How Far We’ll Go - MOANA musical camp

Session C: Feb 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24.

Avast Ye Mateys! - Pirate & Mermaid creative drama camp

Ages: 4.5 - 7

Mondays 9:30a-12:30

Dates: Feb-Mar 24 (5 weeks)

Tuition: 280 for 5 weeks (scholarships always available for families in need- just email!)

Bring: You’ll be keeping the scurvy away with an easy snack, a water bottle, yer change of clothes/outside gear, and feel free to wear your mermaid tails/hair and use ye pirate costumes and accents!

Description: We’ll roleplay in islands and seas as Mermaids and Pirates! Creative drama games, songs, art, and our imaginations will combine to give everyone an adventure: part time-travel, part fantasy!
